Background
Now is its fourth year, the Fox Valley Earth Week Partnership is a grass roots effort that was initiated in 2011 by SCN-FV. The purpose of the partnership is to provide a mutually supportive alliance of Fox Valley Organization to jointly advertise events in the month of April to support Earth Day. Due to the collaborative efforts of the partnership, an attempt is made to minimize event date conflicts and encourage joint event involvement when mutually beneficial. The partnership has grown over the years from about 21 partners in 2011 to about 30 partners today.

Partnership Benefits
Members jointly post their activities for Earth Week in flyers that are spread through-out the community in electronic and paper formats. The events are advertised on Posters hung in area businesses and centers, and in numerous community websites. Go to ecos-foxvalley.com to print copies of the flyers and posters, or just to check out events on the community calendar when you can find brief descriptions of the events and web-sites that give you detailed information. This year we are adding in the option of a Facebook page as well!
